In Uttar Prdesh, the Encephalitis menace continues unabated in the eastern districts. Three more deaths have occurred at BRD Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur during last 24 hours. As many as 11 new patients have been admitted to BRD Medical College Hospital and district hospitals of Gorakhpur and Basti divisions. AIR Gorakhpur correspondent says, with this the death toll has mounted to 545 this year in the region. A total of three thousand and eighty eight children suffering from brain fever were admitted to different government hospitals of the region since January. At present 79 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of the region.<br/><br/>
