In UP, ten more patients have succumbed to encephalitis during past three days in the eastern districts. With this, the total death toll in the region this year has mounted to 505. AIR Gorakhpur correspondent quoting official sources reports that 50 new patients of encephalitis have been admitted to different government hospitals of the region during past three days. 281 encephalitis patients are still being treated in these hospitals.
