In Uttar Pradesh, the encephalitis menace continues unabated in the eastern districts. Three more deaths have occurred at BRD Medical College Hospital in Gorakhpur during last 24 hours.<br/><br/>Two children succumbed to deadly disease in Ramkola area of adjoining Kushinagar district.<br/><br/>AIR Gorakhpur correspondent quoting official sources reports that a total of three thousand and seventy seven children suffering from brain fever were admitted to different government hospitals of the region since January.<br/><br/>Of this, five hundred and forty two died. At present 79 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of the region.<br/>
