In a major success, Manipur Police recovered emycold tablets worth 30 lakh and eighty thousand rupees from a post office at Imphal on Friday.The Officer-in-Charge of Narcotics Cell of the Imphal West District Police told media persons at Imphal, on Friday evening that Manipur Police has seized 36,600 strips of emycold tablets from Porompat Sub-Post Office in Imphal East District on Friday afternoon. The Police official also said that the tablets were sent in 13 boxes from New Delhi to an untraceable address at Porompat in Imphal. He also said that the tablets might have been sent to Manipur for further sending it to Myanmar through illegal transactions. No one was arrested so far in connection with the incident.
