Employees to enroll their names under ESIC & EPFO: Bandaru Dattatreya

Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya said an amnesty scheme is being introduced to enthuse employees to enroll their names under ESIC and EPFO. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad yesterday evening, Mr Dattatreya said this scheme is applicable to those employers who have not provided ESI and EPF benefits to their employees under them between 2009 and 2016.<br/><br/>He said such employees will be allowed to enroll their names before March this year without any penalties. The union minister said the aim behind introducing the amnesty scheme is to ensure that social security is provided to employees comprehensively.<br/><br/>Mr Dattatreya said Skill Development industry is planning to set up 100 training centres for drivers across the country and he had requested the centre to allocate five centres to Telangana.
