In Jammu and Kashmir, after receiving invitation from the State Government to hold dialogue with them, the employee’s leadership has suspended their proposed indefinite strike from today. The sub-committee set up by the government will talk to the employee’s leadership in Civil Secretariat at Jammu on Friday. In view of the strike called by the employees the normal work in all the Government and Public Sector Undertaking offices, hospitals and schools across the State was badly hit for the last five days.<br/>The employees are demanding that the issues like decision regarding fate of adhoc, temporary, contractual and daily rated workers, enhancement in their wages, release of 20% HRA, removal of pay anomalies, and increase in retirement age and release the arrears of employees pertaining to 6th Pay Commission report.
