An Emirates flight EK 652 from Dubai to Male, made an emergency landing at Mumbai International Airport this afternoon. The emergency landing was necessitated after smoke was observed on-board. According to a Mumbai airport official, the flight with 309 passengers and crew landed safely at 2.58 pm on Runway 9 of the Mumbai airport. The official informed that the aircraft would take off after necessary checks.
