Eminent Urdu writer Hamida Salim passed away at her residence in Jamia Nagar, New Delhi on Sunday. <br/><br/>Family sources said, she was 93. Salim was the first woman graduate of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).<br/><br/>She had penned down many books including' Shorish-e-Dauran', 'Ham Saath Thhe','Parchhaiyon Ke Ujale' and ' Hardam Rawan Hai Zindagi'.<br/><br/>She was sister of the legendary poet Israrul Haqu Mazaj and aunt of famous lyricist Javed Akhtar.
