Eminent Telugu story writer, poet and Kendriya Sahitya Academy Awardee Kalipatnam Ramarao passes away at 97

<span style="color: #222222;">Eminent Telugu story writer, poet and Kendriya Sahitya Academy Awardee Kalipatnam Ramarao passed away this morning at his residence in Srikakulam City in Andhra Pradesh. He was 97. The founder of Kathanilayam, known popularly as Kara Mastaru, he received the Kendriya Sahitya Academy Award for 'Yagnam', which is related to social reforms.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">His brain child, Kathanikayam is meant to collect and preserve different genres of books on different literary forms penned by different&nbsp; writers across the two Telugu States with a definite aim to protect Telugu language and literary forms and of course, short stories.</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;">AP Governor Biswa Busan Harichandan and Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has expressed his grief and sadness over the passing away of the eminent short story writer Kalipatnam Rama Rao Mastaru.
