<span style="color: #222222;">Eminent technocrat Dr K.Kasturirangan, who chaired the panel that drafted the National Education Policy-2020 has said the vision of India's new educational system has been crafted to ensure that it touches the life of each and every citizen.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He was delivering the eighth convocation address at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing IIITDM, Chennai, through videoconferencing today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Dr Kasturirangan said, the new education policy aims at creating a just and equitable society with an approach to realize a new system, aligned with aspirational goals of 21st century education. He remarked that the National Education Policy provides an integrated, yet flexible approach to education. He said it has kept the interconnectedness of the various phases of education in mind and how the same will enable continuity, coherence and processes to ultimately realize an end-to-end educational road-map for the country.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The IIITDM is recognised as an institute of national importance. In today's convocation, 306 of its students graduated. The institute has introduced three new M.Tech. programs in Advance Robotics, Power Electronics System Design and Computer Science and Engineering this academic year.</span><br />'' &nbsp;
