Eminent historian and academician Professor A Sreedhara Menon, died on Friday. He was 84, and was not in good health for quite some time. Menon researched and wrote extensively on modern Kerala. He was an authority on the political history of Kerala and authored nearly 25 books in English and Malayalam. His widely appreciated works include 'A survey of Kerala history',”Triumph and tragedy in Travancore' and a series on Freedom struggle and Kerala.
