Eminent historian and educationist Professor A. Sreedhara Menon passed away at Thiruvananthapuram on Friday. He was 84. Prof Menon had authored many important books including one about the history of Kerala during the freedom movement. Sreedhara Menon was honoured with padmabhooshan in 2009 for his noteworthy contribution in the fields of literature and education. He will be cremated on Sunday at Thiruvanathapuram.
