Union Minister and BJP senior leader Nirmala Sitharaman has alleged that eminent Congress leaders are involved in Punjab National Bank scam. <br/><br/>Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Saturday, Ms Sitharaman said, Congress promoted Gitanjali jewellers, gave a building on rent, but they are blaming BJP for all the wrongs. <br/><br/>She said, all the inheritance, legacy and property in this case belong to the Congress party and their leaders are the beneficiaries and promoters. <br/><br/>Ms Sitharaman said, the property of Adwait Holdings Private limited whose directors are wife and son of Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, Anita Singhvi and Avishkar Singhvi, is rented to Nirav Modi's jewellery company in Mumbai. She said, both companies have also done loan transactions. <br/><br/>Ms Sitharaman also said, fire star diamond international private limited, which is one of the companies of Nirav Modi, was acquired from Adwait Holdings and one of its shareholders was Anita Singhvi since 2002. <br/><br/>She said, Congress party is misleading people on the entire issue. She said, the original sin in this particular episode was committed in 2011. <br/><br/>The Minister said, it is the Modi government which is trying to get to the bottom of the issue and took action against the corrupt practices. <br/><br/>She said, Congress needs to answer instead of making allegations against BJP.
