An Emirates flight from Kochi to Dubai made an emergency landing at the Cochin International Airport this morning, one hour after it took off. All the 205 passengers and 14 crew members on board the aircraft are safe. Airport sources said the aircraft took off at 4.20 this morning, but landed back one hour later. The aircraft made an emergency landing as its pilot found that its landing gear did not retract due to a hydraulic system failure. 70 passengers were accommodated in another Emirates flight to Dubai, while others have been accommodated in a hotel.
