In Uttar Pradesh, eleven labourers were killed at a construction site under Singahi police station area in Lakhimpur Khiri district today. According to police sources, the incident occurred when a high tension electric wire touch with a roof of mixing machine at the construction site and these labourers were working with the machine at that time. The additional Superintendent of Police Ajay Pratap told AIR Allahabad correspondent eleven labourers were killed in this tragic accident and relief and rescue operation is on. He said senior administrative and police officers have rushed to the spot. Details are awaited.
