In Karnataka, eleven labourers, including eight women, were today killed when a truck in which they were travelling collided with a lorry in Koppal district. Nine others were also injured. Police said that most of the labourers are workers in a private poultry farm in Boodagumpa village. 10 persons died on the spot. All the injured have been admitted to a hospital. The lorry driver is absconding.
