In Pakistan, at least eleven people were killed and nine others injured as a blast took place in a passenger bus today. Police say the blast occurred on Hangu road in Kohat in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The bus was travelling from Kohat to Hangu, a city in northwest Pakistan when the explosives blew up. According to the report nearly 18 people were on board the bus. Security forces have cordoned off the area for precautionary measures.Meanwhile, a complete ban has been imposed on pillion riding for an indefinite period following growing cases of targeted killings. Patrolling of law enforcing agencies will also be boosted during night hours in sensitive areas of the metropolis. The decision was taken at a meeting presided over by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and attended by Pakistan's Interior Minister Rehman Malik, as well as high ups of the police and law enforcement agencies.
