Eleven people, including three senior MCD officials, were arrested in two separate cases in New Delhi this year for allegedly harassing and threatening those who sought details under the Right to Information (RTI) Act. A senior police official said, the Police has also initiated investigations into a complaint against a Head Constable of west Delhi's Tilak Nagar for allegedly harassing a a man on the behest of PDS outlet operators.
