<span style="color: #222222;">Railway and Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has informed that electrification of the Konkan railway route and all routes in Goa would be completed in three and a half years. <br />''<br />''Mr Goyal said, there is a thrust on improving railway connectivity in Goa as the state is an important tourist destination. <br />'' <br />'' He was speaking at Sankhali in North Goa this evening after launching the BJP's membership drive in the state in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant. Mr Goyal said that electrification of railways will improve speed and reduce pollution on the scenic Konkan railway route. <br />'' <br />'' He welcomed the union budget, which was presented yesterday, stating that it focuses on the welfare of every section of society.
