The Government has reiterated its resolve to make electricity available to all by 2012. Launching the Renewable Energy Certificate Mechanism in New Delhi on Thurday, the Union Power Minister, Mr. Sushil Kumar Shinde said that the government will make available cheap and sustainable power.He said that out of one lakh 50 thousand unelectrified villages, 86 thousand have been covered till now.
