Electoral rolls of 221 Assembly constituencies out of 224 assembly segments in Karnataka finalised and published

The Electoral rolls of 221 Assembly constituencies out of 224 assembly segments in Karnataka have been finalised and published in ceo.karnataka.gov.in website on Thursday. For the remaining Assembly constituencies of Shivajinagar, Chickpet and Mahadevapura, the final electoral rolls will be published on 15th of this month. The general public can check whether their names have been included in the list with correct information. <br />''<br />''As per the Final Electoral rolls published today, there are five crore five lakh 48 thousand and 553 voters in the list in 221 constituencies. The Bengaluru South Assembly constituency has the highest number of 6,50,53 voters and Sringeri constituency the lowest number of 1,66,521 voters. There are 57,338 polling stations coming in these 221 assembly segments. During the revision of the electoral roll, seven lakh one thousand and 243 first time voters were added in the list. Apart from this, one lakh eight hundred thirty four sex workers, 30,517 vulnerable tribal groups, five lakh nine thousand five hundred fifty three persons with disabilities and 41,312 transgenders were added in the electoral roll. The election to the state assembly in Karnataka is due in April-May.<br />
