In West Bengal Elections to five Municipalities and one notified Area Authority will take place tomorrow. The Municipalities are Durgapur, Nalhati, Dhupguri, Haldia, Panskura, and Coopers Camp notified area. The State Election Commissioner Mrs. Mira Pandey told AIR that, elaborate security arrangements have been made to ensure free and fair voting. AIR Correspondents reports that, over five lakh ninety thousands electorate are ellegible to cast their vote. 502 candidates are constasting in 129 seats. 732 polling stations have been set-up. The counting of votes will take place on Tuesday.
