Electioneering intensifies in Jharkhand, campaigning in last leg

Campaigning for the third phase of elections in Jharkhand has reached its peak with just a day to go now. Campaigning there will come to an end at 3.00 P.M. on Sunday. Polling in this phase will be held in 11 constituencies on Tuesday. Polling for 40 constituencies in the 81-member Jharkhand Assembly has already taken place during the two phases of the elections in the State.<br/><br/>Political parties have fielded their star speakers to address election meetings in a last bid to woo voters. Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay and Veerbhadra Singh, BJP President Rajnath Singh and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, LJP leader Ramvilas Paswan, JMM chief Shibu Soren and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader, Babulal Marandi are addressing a series of election meetings throughout the State. AIR Correspondent reports that leaders are raising local issues to garner support of voters.<br/><br/>Repolling was held at four booths of Gandeya and Dumri assembly constituencies in Jharkhand, where voting took place on Wednesday.<br/>
