Campaigning in Saurashtra region of Gujarat is on the peak with top leaders of major political parties addressing series of public meetings. With only two days left for campaigning, leaders are keeping no stone unturned to woo the voters. Addressing a public meeting in Vansada.

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said, Gujarat's development is only for a few people and large sections are untouched by it. he blamed Gujarat government of not being able to balance development in the state. Dr. Singh said, benefits of central government schemes are not reaching everyone in the State.

BJP’s poll campaign is mainly dominated by Chief Minister Narendra Modi, who is addressing several election meetings in Saurashtra.

Senior Congress leader Shankarsinh Waghela is leading party’s poll campaign in the region, while Gujarat Parivartan Party President Keshubhai Patel is also campaigning in Saurashtra in favour of his party candidates.
