In West Bengal, the electioneering for the first phase election to 54 assembly seats in six districts North Bengal is gaining momentum. On the eve of election, Gorkha National Liberation Front, GNLF, Supremo Subhash Ghisingh's return to Darjeeling hill after almost three years has made significant for poll in Darjeeling hills. Ghising had been in hibernation so long after the present hill out fit the Gorkha Jana Mukti Morcha was formed and had not been allowed. The fate of 38 candidates including that of three GNLF candidate from six assembly seats in Darjeeling district will be decided in the first phase poll slated on 18th of this month.
