With election dates drawing nearer in Rajasthan and Delhi, electioneering in the two states has picked up. Political parties are making all out efforts to woo the voters. Senior leaders of parties are addressing a series of election rallies as the campaigning will come to an end in Rajasthan on 29th of this month and in Delhi on 2nd of next month. The date of polling in Rajasthan is 1st December and in Delhi on 4th December.
Our Jaipur correspondents adds that number of educated candidates has increased in Rajasthan. More than 50 per cent candidates contesting Assembly election are graduates. Association for Democratic reforms and Rajasthan Election Watch, jointly released some interesting data and information’s regarding background, liabilities, assets, and criminal record of candidates contesting election in the state. Meanwhile, a candidate of the National Peoples Party Narendra Kumar Dewasi died in a road accident near Pachpadra in Barmer district late last night. He was contesting election from Gudha Malani Assembly constituency. Earlier, the Election commission postponed polling in Churu constituency due to death of a BSP candidate Jagdish Meghwal.
