Electioneering gains momentum for Assembly elections in Telangana

In Telangana, electioneering has gained momentum even as filing nomination papers continued. The last day for the filing of nominations in the state is Friday. Meanwhile, poll campaign has gained momentum across the state with top leaders of all major political parties touring various constituencies in support of their party candidates. <br />''<br />''Akashvani Correspondent reports, "Farmers welfare, Corruption and implementation of assurances given to the people have been at the centre stage in the poll rallies of both the ruling BRS and opposition Congress campaigns today.  BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has addressed Praja Ashirvada Sabhas at Sirpur, Asifabad and Bellampally constituencies whereas PCC President Revanth Reddy addressed Praja Garjhana Sabhas at Khanapur, Adilabad and Rajendernagar constituencies. BJP leaders G Kishan Reddy, E Rajendra and Dr K Lakshman have participated in poll rallies when party candidates were filing nomination papers at various places.  <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi held electioneering in Nampally constituency by undertaking a Paidal Dowra along with the candidate Mohammad Majid Hussain. Meanwhile, filing nominations continued on the fifth day today. Among the prominent leaders who filed nominations today include BRS senior leader and minister Gangula Kamalakar from Karimnagar and Pilot Rohit Reddy from Tandur.<br />''<br />'' Congress candidate D Megha Reddy filed nomination papers from Wanaparthy while sitting MLA Dansari Anasuya of the national party filed from Mulugu. BJP candidate in Bhupalapally Ch. Keerthy Reddy and Annapurnamma from Balkonda filed nomination papers. AIMIM candidate from Chandrayanagutta Akbaruddin Owaisi has also filed nomination papers today. </span>
