Electioneering for single phase election on 6th April is in full swing in Tamil Nadu

In Tamil Nadu a total of 3,998 candidates are in the fray for the 234 Assembly constituencies. Electioneering for the single phase election to be held on 6th April is in full swing. Campaigning for the poll will end on April 4th evening at 7 PM. Preparation for the polls is being done by the District Election Officers all over the State. Poll officials are involved in fixing candidates' names and their symbols in the Electronic voting machine. <br />''<br />''District administrations are also involved in ensuring 100 per cent polling and conduct awareness camps on the voting process by demonstrating EVM and VVPAT machines. Highly sensitive booths are being identified for deployment of additional paramilitary forces.<br />'' <br />''Meanwhile, various political leaders are involved in  intensified  election campaigns in the State. Star campaigners of all parties have joined the others in the process.
