In Madhya Pradesh, the Indore Bench of the State High Court on Friday declared election of BJP MLA, Neena Verma from Dhar constituency, null and void. She had won the 2008 Assembly election by just one vote. Defeated Congress candidate Balmukund Gautam had filed a petition in the Court. He had alleged that election officer's conduct was not impartial and ruling BJP had misused its power. Ms. Neena Verma is the wife of senior BJP leader Vikram Verma. Ms. Verma has said that she will challenge this ruling in the Supreme Court.
