<br/>In Rajasthan, election for 46 civic bodies will be held on the 23rd of this month. 8395 candidates have filed their nominations for 4 municipal corporations,11 municipal councils and 31 municipalities of 24 districts.<br/><br/>Half of the seats of these civic bodies are reserved for women.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that for the first time in the state people would directly elect the Mayors and chairpersons of civic bodies.
