Full Election Commission will visit Gujarat today to review poll preparations in the state. Official sources said, Chief Election Commissioner VS Sampath and Election Commissioners HS Brahma and Nasim Zaidi will also interact with the representatives of the political parties at Ahmedabad. All District Election Officers and Superintendents of Police have been called to Ahmedabad to attend the review meeting. AIR correspondent reports that the Election Commission will also hold consultations with the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police regarding poll arrangements. Assembly elections in the state will be held in two phases on the 13th and 17th of December.
