<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Election Commission has issued a set of directives to the District Magistrates and district Police chiefs to ensure impartial and violence-free polling in the forthcoming Loksabha Elections in West Bengal. CEC Rajiv Kumar said at a press conference at Kolkata today, that state administration have been instructed to ensure level-playing field for all political parties. He added, there will be no place for fear and intimidation and any partisan approach from the bureaucracy will not be tolerated. As per the directives issued by the Election Commission, at sensitive areas adequate deployment of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) is to be done in consultation with District Election Officers, SPs or Commissioners of Police, in advance in order to build confidence among voters.</span></p>
