Election campaigning intensifies in Gujarat; political leaders leaving no stone unturned to woo voters

In Gujarat, top leaders of all the political parties are putting in all their efforts to sway the voters in their favor as only four days left for the campaigning of the first phase of the polls. BJP leaders and Union Ministers including Home minister Amit Shah, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Parsottam Rupala, Ravi Shankar Prasad intensively campaigned in the state. Mr. Shah held a massive roadshow at Rajpipla and addressed public meetings at Nadiad, Jhalod, Vaghra today. Addressing rallies at various places, Mr. Shah cautioned voters to stay away from the parties giving false promises during elections and should trust the BJP's developmental agenda.<br />''<br />''As part of Congress's poll campaign, party's senior leaders Shaktisinh Gohil, Raghu Sharma and Rajiv Shukla held press conferences in Ahmedabad today. Mr Gohil promised to revive the old pension scheme for government employees if the party comes to power.
