The Election campaigning in Himachal Pradesh is gaining momentum, with political parties attacking each other with allegations and counter-allegations. <br />''<br />''Congress spokesperson Alka Lamba today said, the people of Himachal Pradesh want development, employment, and social justice which only Congress can provide. <br />''<br />''In reply to the allegations leveled by BJP spokesperson Aparajita Sarangi in a Press Conference in Shimla yesterday, October 27, Ms. Lamba said, the people of Himachal Pradesh are facing the brunt of BJP's failed governance. In her statement, she said, Congress always keeps promises but the nature of the BJP is to make promises, take electoral benefits, and not implement them later. She said, the promise made in Himachal on OPS has been fulfilled earlier in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and the same decision will be taken by the first cabinet as soon as the government is formed in Himachal. <br />
