Election campaign intensifies for Nagaland Assembly polls

<span style="color: #222222;">With the election campaign for Nagaland Assembly polls intensifying in the final leg, many political parties are stepping out for their candidates to woo the voters. Star Campaigners of the two alliance partners -Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and National Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Congress, and several other candidates of different parties have intensified their campaigning by taking public meetings and rallies at the different Assembly constituencies.<br />''<br />''NDPP leader and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who is also the Star Campaigner for NDPP campaigned at different locations today for the party candidates. During the rallies, Rio appealed for votes in favour of its candidates to bring about further development.<br />''<br />''BJP Leader and Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton, and BJP National Spokesperson Nalin Kohli also campaigned today for its candidates under the Wokha district. In his election campaign speech, Kohli asserted that the main motive of the BJP party is to bring peace and development.
