In Jharkhand, the election campaigning has been intensified in 14 constituencies where second phase of election will be held on December 2. Rallies and road shows are being organised. RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav, JMM Chief Shibu Soren, Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Babu Lal Marandi, BJP leader Arjun Munda and Film Actor Raj Babbar are campaigning for their party candidates. The Chief Election Commissioner of India Naveen Chawla has instructed the Jharkhand administration to ensure free and fair polls in the remaining 55 constituencies of the state. In these constituencies, poling will be held in four phases of elections. Most of these constituencies are in the Naxal infested areas. During review meeting with the high officials at Ranchi, Mr. Chawla said that deployment of security forces in Naxal infested areas should be in such a way that people could vote without fear. AIR correspondent reports that the Chief Election Commissioner arrived at Ranchi on a two-day tour to the state to review the ongoing election preparedness.<br/>
