In Andhra Pradesh, the campaigning for Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly bye elections is gaining momentum. After the deadline for withdrawal of nominations came to a close Thursday evening, a total 42 candidates are in the fray for Kadapa Lok Sabha seat while 25 candidates are contesting from Pulivendula Assembly segment. The returning officer of Kadapa, Sashi Bhushan said Y S R Congress candidates from Kadapa Y S Jaganmohan Reddy who is seeking re- election and his mother Y S Vijaya Lakshmi, a candidate from Pulivendula have been allotted a common election symbol- Ceiling Fan.
