Uttar Pradesh government has made elaborate security arrangements in the state particularly in Aligarh, Agra and Mathura districts keeping in mind today's bandh called by farmers agitating for higher compensation for their land. The government said, nobody will be allowed to disrupt public transport and essential services during state-wide bandh called by Kisan Sangharsh Samiti. Meanwhile, Congress and BJP have extended their support to the bandh and asked their workers to participate in it.
