Chief Election Commissioner S. Y. Quraishi has said that an elaborate security arrangement will be made to ensure free and fair Assembly polls in Bihar.After reviewing poll preparations for the first four phases of elections in the state, he said in Muzaffarpur that all necessary measures are being taken to instill confidence among voters in the Naxal infested areas. Dr Quraishi said, for the first time, Central Para Military Forces have been deployed well in advance in poll bound areas. The full Election Commission is on a two-day visit to Bihar to review poll preparations in the state. AIR Patna Correspondent reports that the campaigning has intensified for the first phase of polling scheduled to take place on 21st of this month.
