In Uttar Pradesh, Union Minister for Water Resources, River development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharati has said that a elaborate project is being prepared for rejuvenation of river Yamuna and no more sewerage and polluted water will be allowed to drain in it. <br/><br/>Talking to media persons at Vrandavan of Mathura district Susri Bharti said that union government has made available twenty thousand crore rupees for her ministry for various projects. <br/><br/>She said the cooperation of Uttar Pradesh government is sought for cleaning the river Ganga and Yamuna. The Minister said that cleaning of the river by trace steamer has been started at Delhi and NCR. She said Sewerage water will be treated at plants and made available for farmers and Mathura Refinery.<br/><br/>Speaking in another programme at Nagaria village of Etawah district, Uma Bharati said that 99 projects to link 21 rivers across the country will be be completed during the present tenure of union government. She said union government is committed for rivers' cleanliness and 15 thousand rupees will be spent on cleaning of Ganga at Kanpur.
