Elaborate arrangements have been made for local elections in Nepal after a gap of two decades. In the first phase tomorrow, polling will be held for 283 local bodies. Around 5o lakh voters will exercise their franchise in 34 districts of 3 provinces. <br/><br/>Chief Election Commissioner of Nepal, Ayodhee Prasad Yadav told our Kathmandu correspondent that election commission is fully prepared to conduct free, fair and fearless elections. He also expressed gratitude towards Govt. of India for providing logistic support for local elections. <br/> <br/>Polling for remaining 4 provinces will be held in second phase on 14th of next month.
