In Uttar Pradesh, poll personnel and police forces have started reaching their respective polling stations for tomorrow's voting. Elaborate arrangements are being made for peaceful and event free voting. Voting will be held from 7 AM to 5 PM. In three constituencies of Robertsganj and Dudhhi in Naxal hit Sonbhadra district and Chakia in Chandauli district, voting will be concluded at 4 PM, an hour earlier than schedule time.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that the Election Commission has taken several measures to increase people's participation in voting. Voter's slips provided by the Commission have been distributed to voters and a help desk is being set up at many polling stations to help the electorates to find out their name and polling booth. All major political parties have also conducted intensive campaigning to attract the voters. <br/><br/>Interstate border with Bihar and Jharkhand has been sealed and patrolling by security forces have been intensified. Central Paramilitary forces, already camping in the poll bound areas, are holding flag marches in sensitive and vulnerable areas. <br/>A total of 40 constituencies spread over 7 districts of eastern region of the state will go for voting under last phase. Districts covered for polls are Ghazipur, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Chandauli, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Sonbhadra and Mirzapur.
