With just one day left for the 7th phase of polling in Uttar Pradesh, political parties are making all out efforts to reach the voters. 60 Assembly seats in ten districts of the State will go to polls on Saturday. Elaborate arrangements have been made for hassle free and peaceful polling. 962 candidates including 100 women are trying their political fortune in this phase. AIR Correspondent reports that Uttar Pradesh witnessed heavy turnout of voters in the first six phases of polling. In Goa, campaigning is in full swing. Apart from addressing big rallies, leaders of political parties and candidates are going from door to door to seek the support of electorate. 215 candidates are in the fray for the 40-member Goa Assembly.
