Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat: Team of Manipur students leave for Maharashtra to participate in Yuva Sangam Tour

<span style="color: #222222;">In Manipur, a team of Manipur students left Imphal on Monday morning for Nagpur, Maharashtra to participate in the Yuva Sangam Tour under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB).<br />''<br />''Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh flagged off the team from his Secretariat in Imphal in the presence of Union Minister of State for Education Dr. Rajkumar Ranjan. <br />''<br />''The team consists of thirty Manipur students representing various districts and institutes and three faculty members from IIIT- Manipur. The team will tour in the state of Maharashtra for six days and the programme is being held in association with IIIT- Nagpur. A team of 70 students and five faculties from IIIT- Nagpur will also visit Manipur in the later part of this month as part of the youth exchange program.<br />''<br />''Speaking to the young students who are taking part in the tour, the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's idea of a One India, United India, Strong India is being encouraged. He said that it is needed that the people from other regions should also know and understand the people of the North East.</span><br />
