In China, eight workers were trapped in a flooded coal mine in Dushan County in Guizhou Province yesterday. A local official said today, rescue workers were still trying to reach the trapped miners. He said the mine was operating illegally and owned by people from Guizhou and Guangxi. In another coal mine flooding in Guiyang, the provincial capital of Guizhou, rescuers have found one body while 11 others remained trapped three days after the accident.
