In Haryana, eight persons were killed and four injured in a road accident late on Sunday night. The accident occurred when a pick-up van collided head on with a truck on the Hisar-Chandigarh road near Talwandi Rana village in Hisar district. The injured have been admitted to the civil hospital. The truck driver fled from the spot. The police has registered a case.
