<br/>At least eight Maoists including three women have been killed in an encounter with security forces at Saloboni village in west Midnapore district of West Bengal. The bodies of the ultras have been recovered.<br/><br/>Quoting police sources AIR correspondent reports that a joint forces of CRPF, the special anti-naxal force (SAF) and state police acting on a specific intelligence input went into the encounter last night and eliminated the ultras .<br/><br/>The security forces also recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions from the encounter site.<br/><br/>Quoting police sources our Midnapur correspondent adds that the encounter still on and S.P. Midnapur rushed to the spot with additional forces. The anti naxal drive in the area is manned by Cobra force mainly.
