Eight 'Koya' commandos were injured in a naxal attack in the Sukma district in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. Police sources said naxaltes opened fire at these commandos near Kanjipani. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital. In another incident in the Bijapur district, an encounter took place on Wednesday between the naxalites and the police near Ganeshbahar. No casualty has however been reported in this incident.In yet another incident in Bijapur district, naxalites killed two villagers near Boduli suspecting them to be police informers. On the other hand, police across the naxal affected areas of the state have been asked to remain vigilant in view of the one day bandh call by the Maoists on Wednesday.
