In Uttar Pradesh at least eight persons were killed and more than one dozen injured in two separate road accidents in Fatehpur district.<br/><br/>AIR Correspondent reports that seven people were killed and eight injured when a tractor collided with a truck under Jehanabad police station area early this morning. The accident took place when the tractor, without head lights, was going to nearby village carrying members of a band party.<br/><br/>The injured have been admitted to hospital where the condition of some of them was stated to be serious.<br/><br/>In another accident one kanwariya was killed and five others were injured when a tempo in which they were traveling overturned at Chargarhiya bridge under Lalauli area. They were returning after performing ‘jalabhishek’ on the occasion of Mahashivratri at a local temple. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
