<br/> A suicide bomber in Iraq has killed at least eight people and wounded several others in Bakuba north of Baghdad. One of the victims was the local head of the Iraqi Awakening Council . The bomber detonated an explosive device at a tea shop near the market. There has been a significant decrease in the level of violence in the past two years but tensions remain and prominent members of the Awakening Council have been increasingly targeted in the past few months.
